Our roles now are predominantly home-based therefore we are offering a flexible working pattern to suit your lifestyle and support a work-life balance including; full-time hours, split shifts and part-time hours. We are open to discussing what works for you so we
Our application process remains very much the same. You may have seen one of our ads on a job site, through a recruiter, or on our website, click on the job that interests you, answer our screening questions, attached your cover letter and CV, and we’ll get back to you as soon as we can if we think you’ll be a good fit for that role.
We’re all working from home at the moment, so you won’t be coming into the office for your interviews. Instead, you’ll have your first interaction with us over webcam or the telephone, which you can either use your phone or laptop for. Grab a cup of tea and relax, our recruitment team just want to get to know you first with a short screening chat.
If you’re applying for one of our contact centre roles you will then be asked to complete a short online video interview and online assessment before progressing to the next stage.
Taking place over webcam again, this is where you’ll get to know your future team leader and speak more about your past experiences, the role and what you will bring to Brightside. This is as much an interview for you as it is for us, so come prepared with questions about the company, we love working here, but learn as much as you can to see if it’s a place you can see yourself loving too.
It’s easy for teams to feel disconnected when we’ve all been so used to working closely together in our office space. Swinging by a colleague’s desk if we need something and seeing the faces of our team on a daily basis seems a little more difficult to do through a screen. But recreating that office feeling is something we’re trying really hard to do. Team catch-ups occur regularly, casual coffees and chats give us that space to natter and quizzes bring departments together and help us unwind.
Before you join us, we’ll set up a casual call with your new team, or your trainer so you can meet some the people you’ll be interacting with.
When lockdown got announced, the Brightside team adapted the whole company with weeks, without breaking service to our customers, so that every member of our staff could safety work from home. If you’re successful we will provide you with the necessary, IT equipment to carry out your role from the comfort of your own home. You will be required on occasions to travel to one of our offices for meetings etc. and so you will ideally live within an hour of one of our offices in Bristol, Southampton or Torquay.
Good luck with your application, we’re looking forward to meeting you!
